Sep 2015 - The Joan Van Blom Memorial row

The CTC for September 26th is a special event.

In November 2013 Joan van Blom was diagnosed with a brain tumour. On Friday 28th August she lost her battle to the disease.

Row 7684m from a standing start and record your time.

The 76 is to honour JVB's silver medal in the 1x at the 1976 Montréal Olympics;
the 84 is to honour her silver in the coxed quad at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.
Stroke rating is up to you; the only rule is that the row should be continuous.

A special team "Friends of Joan Van Blom" has been created for anyone who doesn't belong to an existing team.
